Journalists awarded for sanitation promotion — 2009-12-01
Based on the national level WASH Media Award Competition announced by the Nepal WASH Group of the WSSCC Nepal Chapter from June-October 2009 coinciding with the 10th national sanitation week, a National WASH Media Award programme was organised on 27 November 2009 in an effort to motivate and inspire journalists promoting about sanitation issues from different parts of the country.
Six journalists representing the five development regions were awarded cash prize of NRs. 7,500 each for their best feature write up on sanitation issues.
