NEWAH believes in the community Management approach

NEWAH works in the partnership with local NGOs, and semi- governmental develop- mental organization; Small Farmer Development Project (SFDP), one of the "Agriculture Development Bank" sector and Production Credit for Rural Women (PCRW), one of the "Women Development Branch" sector. They have project implementation role. NEWAH along with its partner works for community strengthening and the project sustainability. In other words, NEWAH has community management approach to work in the community.

In each and every project area a Water, Health and Users Committee (WSUC) is formed which plays a vital role to make community decisions and participation for the project both in project implementation and post completion phase. In the post completion phase the WSUC take a responsibility of project regulation and maintenance.

NEWAH also makes follow up support visits to the post completed projects to ensure that the WSUC is practicing project sustainable options or not. If WSUC is found to be inefficient, they are provided with provided post commissioning follow up training. Furthermore every year the best WSUC and the best caretaker (in hill) are awarded.
