Manager, Human Resource Development
Key activities
Govind manages and oversees the Human Resource Management and Development of the organisation to ensure effective delivery of Water, Health and Sanitation services in communities and to improve organisational development aspects of NEWAH. He is also appointed the focal person for risk assessment and management of programmes and played a key role in facilitating delivery of Safe and Effective Development Training to NEWAH staff for safe and effective programme implementation during the conflict situation in Nepal.
Background
Govinda Bhetwal with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Engineering Central Campus, Nepal is working to complete a Masters in Public Administration from Tribhuvan University. He has worked as a Human Resource Development Manager in NEWAH for the past five years and has also remained the Regional Coordinator for one of the NEWAH's regional offices. He has over eight years of experience in designing and estimating rural water supply and sanitation projects and providing technical and managerial support to the field staff and project implementing partners.
