Key activities
Mr. Paras Thakuri is stationed at NEWAH Headquarters being responsible for overall planning, monitoring, management of annual organizational programme activities and maximizing the utilization of available resources in consultations with management and overall regional offices. He is also responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all operational program activities within the organization. The area of work encompasses from donor liaison to furnish reports, writing proposals, analyze budget and project activities, monitoring, planning and provide feedback and support to regional offices and management for effective and efficient planning and management of programme activities.
Background
Maters in Sociology and Bachelor in Science from Tribhuban University, Nepal.
Prior to the present assignment, he was actively involved in generating resources for the organization as a Fundraising officer and been successful in diversifying organizational funding base with making funding association with multiple national and international donors He has also been a part of various publications, organization?s review, reform and development exercises.
His past job as a corporate employee and present job has provided him with a good blend of knowledge and experience both of the corporate and development sector.
