Key activities

Budhathoki is responsible for information & knowledge management and advocacy at NEWAH HQ and works with a team that is involved in collecting, processing, packaging information and knowledge generated from project level experiences and good practices, and disseminating to concerned stakeholders. Under the resource centre development process in Nepal, he is associated with the Resource Centre Network Nepal (RCNN) an informal network of (I) NGOs in the field of water, sanitation, hygiene and disaster management.

Background

Pursuing a Masters of Business Studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, he has a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Engineering Central Campus, Nepal.

He has participated in the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) exchange programme at International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC), The Netherlands from November 2001 - August 03, specializing as a JPO in 'Resource Centre Development'. Budhathoki who has remained the Regional Coordinator for NEWAH also has over 7 years of experience in designing and estimating rural water and sanitation projects and providing technical and managerial support to the field staff and project partners in the Mid / Far - Western Regions.
