Key activities

Saraswati Shrestha represents the regional office in planning, implementing, monitoring of projects and its overall management together in a team and in close coordination and partnership with GO/ local NGOs/ CBOs. Mobilising professional staffs for feasibility study and baseline survey, project proposal writing and reporting as per donor requirement is also some of her main responsibilities.

Background

Shrestha has a Masters of Science in Organic Chemistry and is completing a Masters in Sociology from Tribhuvan University. Saraswati has a strong background in gender and programme implementation having worked for various reputed ogranisations like Save the Children US, HMG JICA, Child Welfare Scheme Nepal, CRT and CSD in diferent capacities. She has spent few years in the remote districts of Nepal like Kalikot, Jumla and Nuwakot contributing to bring positive changes in the lives of disadvantaged people.
